Youth & Family Ministry Vision Statement
We as baptized members of the body of Christ are called to be into relationship with God, each other, and the world. Understanding that we are to follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ to live into a balanced life in all three relationships, we as Incarnation Lutheran Church are dedicated to forming the children and youth entrusted to us into faithful disciples of Christ who: Live Up, Live In, Live Out. Live Up by recognizing God’s presence and consciously inviting God into our daily lives. Live In community by embracing our gifts and diversity in Christ-centered relationships. Live Out Christ in daily life through serving, leading & sharing faith. In order to live into this vision, knowing that we do so confident in God’s grace, the Youth & Family Ministry program of Incarnation Lutheran Church seeks to: Live UP - Teach the ELCA’s “Seven Faith Practices”(worship, pray, encourage, invite, study, serve, give) Live IN - Engage our youth within the greater congregation - Build and cultivate relationships between youth of all ages Live OUT - Encourage youth who are servant-minded - Build disciples who are passionate about global and local justice. We are proud members of South Carolina Church Youth!!!
