Good day, Incarnation family!
As the days go by and uncertainty prevails, please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of the staff. We are working to find ways to keep us connected during this time of social distancing and social isolation. You will be receiving a family worship bulletin and sermon tomorrow and you are invited as a family, and at 10am Sunday morning, if possible to share this worship together. We will provide this every Sunday until we can meet in person together in our new sanctuary!!!!
Other plans are also in the works. We still are trying to get me on Facebook live so that I can greet you each day with comments and prayer and so that I can preach Sunday’s sermon rather than you reading it. We are working on a phone list so that everyone in the congregation receives a phone call weekly - and please - if you need to speak with me - call! 803-530-2045. Savannah is in contact with our youth. I am sharing on my Facebook page “devotions for kids” coming from the NC Synod. Savannah and I can work on this to see if we can post it on Incarnation’s Facebook page.
Here’s our prayer for this day: (from the ELW, p. 76)
O God, where hearts are fearful and constricted, grant courage and hope. Where anxiety is infectious and widening, grant peace and reassurance. Where impossibilities close every door and window, grant imagination and resistance. Where distrust twists our thinking, grant healing and illumination. Where spirits are daunted and weakened, grant soaring wings and strengthened dreams. All these things we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
